Calendar2007 ConcertsIn ascending chronological order 21 March - Performance at a celebration of the Vernal Equinox and Earth Day, sponsored by an NGO (non-governmental organization) at UN Headquarters. 22 May - Performance at Eddy Van Dijk's retirement party to commemorate his many years with the Singers. 25 May - Concert to welcome the new Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. The UN Singers joined other choruses and an orchestra to perform Mahler's Resurrection in the General Assembly Hall. Photo 4 June - performance at a ceremony in honour of the Laureates of the United Nations Population Award 2007. 17 August - Performance at the commemoration of the fourth anniversary of the attack on the UN in Baghdad. 21 September - Performance at the International Day of Peace ceremony at the Japanese Peace Bell Garden, UN Headquarters. 4 October - Performance at the International Day of Older Persons conference at UN Headquarters. News 19 October - our 60th Anniversary concert! 10 December - Performance at the Voices for Peace concert in honor of Human Rights Day, UN Headquarters.
